DESCRIPTION:<p>The scientific programme will present the latest advances in
  the diagnosis and treatment of CTEPH\, including progress in pulmonary en
 darterectomy\, balloon pulmonary angioplasty\, and medical therapies. At t
 he same time\, the conference will explore the growing impact of Pulmonary
  Embolism Response Teams (PERT)\, which are rapidly transforming early int
 erventional management of acute pulmonary embolism.</p>\n<p>Special attent
 ion will also be given to the increasingly recognized clinical entity CTEP
 D (Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Disease) &mdash\; the complex &ldquo\;
 grey zone&rdquo\; between pulmonary embolism and pulmonary hypertension th
 at continues to challenge clinicians and researchers.</p>
